Mention a Caribbean cruise and most people assume you’re talking about St. Martin / St. Barths or perhaps the Virgin Islands. People usually do not think of the Southern Caribbean which includes St. Vincent and the Grenadines. However, that is starting to change. “The Caribbean is the most beautiful place in the world” said one of the guests cruising aboard the M/Y WilPower (Click for password) , “and the islands of the Grenadines are so spectacular that there is no way to describe this with photos or words – you literally have to see it to believe it!” Couple this beauty with the economics of $2.60 EC to $1.00 US and fuel that in some places costs less than $1 per gallon and you have the makings of a great yachting destination. Add to that a great motor yacht like WilPower and you have an incredible charter experience waiting for you.      Wil Power's new owners, An... (more)

In fact, nothing about the last few days had been "ordinary." T... (more)

The waterways are an integral part of life in Fort Lauderdale. There are even water taxis and buses that zip around to take you to your destination. If you have to ... (more)

If you are a "Royal" watcher or even just an occasional reader of any of the grocery store tabloids, you will have noticed that Prince William (second in line to be King of England) and his girlfriend Kate Middleton seem to have fallen in love.  If not with each other then certainly with the island of Mustique.  Kate was there twice in the month of August. Mustique, which is part of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines island chain in the Caribbean, has long been one of my favorite destinations.  See my article about cruising in the Grenadines in YVC.  Mustique is off the beaten t...
